NT Wins Prestigious Environment Prize

The Nepal Trust are proud to be the current holders of the prestigious Italgas Prize for Projects for the Environment.  Director Tony Sharpe travelled to Milan for the presentation.

PROJECTS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

This prize is awarded to companies, agencies and organisations who have completed projects or promoted policies of particular importance to the community in the field of energy and the environment.

The winner awarded this year is the Nepal Trust Organisation, an NGO particularly active in the Himalayas and N.W. Nepal, for its numerous projects directed to the protection of human health, alphabetisation, safeguarding cultural heritages and the production of energy from renewable sources.
