You've probably been reading about what we do, and seen examples of specific projects.  Hopefully you understand that we are committed to providing realistic long term solutions in partnership with the communities of Humla, and you share our belief that successful development has to be more than emergency handouts, and driving round in expensive 4x4s.

We believe we are the only effective NGO operating in Humla today.  That means that we are possibly the only hope for some of the poorest people in the world.  But we can only reach them through the generosity of our supporters, and you can help.  Click on the links below to see how:

Do you belong to a club, society or organisation that would like to build links with Nepal?  Our Community Connections program is looking for people who would like to make contact with a small village in Nepal.  This direct relationship will provide a unique and rewarding insight into Himalayan life and culture.  Click here for more information.

Contribute

There are many ways to offer your skills or your time to the Nepal Trust. You could raise money through sponsorship, all kinds of volunteers are needed in the UK and we provide plenty of resources to help with fundraising and promoting. Or come to Nepal and see our work for yourself by joining a trek, or volunteering for a longer period.
