The Nepal Trust provides integrated rural development in the far North West of Nepal. Our main objective is to help create community projects that emphasize local participation and responsibility and give hope to the people of this very remote and impoverished area, where every day is a struggle for survival.

Welcome Back Jigme!

Many of our long term supporters will remember Jigme Lama. Jigme worked for the Nepal Trust from 2002-2006 alongside his wife Maya, one of our first village health workers who worked with us for over 10 years.

 

Jigme and Maya left Nepal for a few yeards but now they are home again and we are delighted to announce that Jigme will be joining us again as a Project Manager in Nepal.

Treks with a difference

On the 22nd May, 85 people stood on the top of Mt Everest. Luckily we know somewhere a little more off the beaten track! Get away from the crowd, and do your bit for mankind, on a Nepal Trust trek this Autumn. Places are limited, don't delay!
